Ph.D. Candidate, International Relations, Universidade de Brasília

Paulo Filho is a reserve officer of the Brazilian Army. He holds a specialization in Military History from the University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), a Master’s in Military Operations from the Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME), and a Master’s in Defense and Strategic Studies from the National Defense University of the People's Republic of China. His current research focuses on China’s grand strategy and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). He serves as an analyst at the Army’s Center for Strategic Studies (CEEEx) and is an active contributor to public discourse regarding strategy and geopolitics.
