Nov 18, 2025. The Digital Florentine Codex, or DFC, an annotated digital edition of the 16th-century encyclopedia on Mexica-Aztec culture, has won a 2025 Bronze Anthem Award. The team that created the DFC was comprised of many scholars and experts who earned a Ph.D. or M.A. degree at UCLA, including historian Kevin Terraciano, former Latin American Institute director, and art historian Kim Richter, Getty Research Institute principal lead.
